Terms and Conditions for use of Merseyside BioBank (MBB) LERC Recording Websites
By using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
When you submit records through this website you agree that:
- The record is yours, or you have the permission of the owner to submit this record.
- You agree that that your records can be made publicly available for wider use.
- The records will be made available to experts for verification.
- The records will be used by MBB in its normal business, including commercial and non-commercial data searches, and will be made available to MBB partner organisations.
- If you submit a record of a species that could be vulnerable to disturbance or persecution if the record is made publicly available, the record will be flagged as ‘sensitive’ and will not be made publicly available.
- Records may be uploaded to the NBN Atlas (https://nbnatlas.org/).
- The use of records will be covered by MBB standard terms and conditions for data searches, data licences and service level agreements.
- Your contact details, where provided, will be held in a database by MBB and will only be used to contact you if there is a query about the verification of your records. Your contact details will not be passed on to any third parties without your permission.
- Your name will be stored as a critical part of the record and will be made available to local or national recording schemes along with the record and might be shown with the record on the NBN Atlas along with the species name, date and location of the record.
